Cuisine: Detox

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons Himalayan pink salt (finely ground)
  • 32 ounces filtered or spring water (room temperature)
  • 1/2 fresh lemon (juiced, optional)

Equipment

  • large glass or pitcher
  • non-metal spoon
  • measuring spoons
  • citrus juicer (optional)
  • glass storage container (for salt)

Method

  1. Measure 2 teaspoons of pink salt into a large glass or pitcher and slowly add 32 oz of room temperature water. Stir with a non-metal spoon until partially dissolved.
  2. Continue stirring for 2–3 minutes until fully dissolved. The mixture should appear clear and taste like mild seawater.
  3. Add fresh lemon juice or flavor enhancers if using. Stir again to mix evenly.
  4. Drink the entire solution within 15–20 minutes, ideally immediately after waking. Sip steadily but avoid dragging the process beyond 20 minutes.
  5. Remain near a bathroom. Bowel movements typically begin within 30–90 minutes and may last up to 2–3 hours.
