Ingredients

  • 4 cups filtered water (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 large lemons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup
  • ice cubes (optional)

Equipment

  • pitcher or large glass container
  • citrus juicer or reamer
  • spoon or whisk
  • strainer (for lemon seeds)
  • measuring cups & spoons

Method

  1. Roll lemons firmly on the counter to release more juice. Cut and juice them, straining out seeds for a smooth consistency.
  2. In a pitcher, combine filtered water and pink salt. Stir for at least 30 seconds to fully dissolve the salt.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup and stir until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust for sweetness.
  4. Slowly pour in lemon juice while stirring to prevent reactions and ensure even distribution.
  5. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed. Serve over ice or chill for 10–15 minutes before drinking.

Use room temperature water for best mineral absorption. For a sugar-free option, substitute honey with stevia drops. Avoid storing lemon juice for over 24 hours to preserve its vitamin C content. Always stir before serving.
