Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment or lightly oil a baking sheet for free-form.
- In a large bowl, combine beef, soup mix, eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire, garlic, parsley, and pepper. Mix gently with hands.
- Form into a loaf and place in prepared pan or shape on baking sheet (about 9x5 inches).
- In a bowl, whisk ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and garlic powder. Spread glaze over the loaf.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Rest meatloaf for 10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
