Description

A tranquil, floral-infused White Lotus Drink Recipe that blends aromatic lotus petals, lemon, and honey for a refreshing, wellness-enhancing beverage perfect for mindfulness, summer gatherings, or elegant entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons dried white lotus petals (or 3 tablespoons fresh petals)
  • 1 tablespoon lotus seeds, crushed (optional)
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse dried or fresh lotus petals gently under cold water and pat dry.
  2. In a pitcher, heat filtered water to about 190°F (88°C), then add petals and optional seeds. Cover and steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the infusion into a clean pitcher and stir in honey while warm (not hot).
  4. Add lemon juice and vanilla extract. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. Serve chilled over ice, garnished with mint and lemon slices.

Notes

Do not over-steep petals to avoid bitterness. Store in a glass container for up to 3 days. Enhance flavor with coconut water or orange blossom water, or freeze petals into decorative ice cubes.
