  • 1 pound store-bought pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham or pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: 1/4 cup fresh chopped herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and dust your surface with flour.
  2. Mix olive oil, garlic, and half of the Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Roll dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle. Rest if needed.
  4. Brush dough with garlic-oil, spread cream cheese, layer mozzarella, meats, vegetables, and Parmesan evenly.
  5. Roll dough tightly from the long edge, seal the seam and ends.
  6. Transfer roll seam-side down, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with remaining seasoning and herbs, and cut 3-4 slits on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden. Rest 5-10 minutes before slicing.
